This deer was taken by one of the guys I work with. He had never hunted in his life and during Thanksgiving went with his father in law to a South Texas lease. On Monday morning he was telling me all about the deer and I told him he was ruined taking such an animal as a first. Then he really surprised me by revealing he had not planned on hunting and did not have a rifle so the day before he shot his father-in-law's bow and killed this deer with a bow. First hunting experience, fine deer and with a bow. Where do you go from there??
